    We currently have an opportunity for a **Regional Manager in Personal Lines** .

    Overview:

    Responsible for the administration and operation of one or more assigned branch office sites in accordance with the practices, policies and procedures of the Company.

    Responsibilities:

    + Responsible for the overall management and daily operation of the branch offices, including the procurement of various office services and supplies, payment of bills, etc.

    + Oversee the operation of the branch office, by setting objectives, planning, organizing and coordinating with other departments.

    + Responsible for recommending to the Director the hiring or dismissal of personnel within the branch office.

    + Direct the services of the branch office within the accepted principles and practices of the insurance community, with primary responsibility for effective account services and the development of new and existing accounts.

    + Supervise and direct branch office personnel including training, motivation, performance appraisal, salary recommendation, schedules and timekeeping.

    + Assign accounts and work assignments to branch office personnel and provide assistance with the servicing of the accounts and service personal insurance accounts.

    + Provide technical knowledge and expertise to branch office personnel regarding appropriate coverage.

    + Develop additional or new business from existing accounts or assigned leads and contributes to meeting branch production goals.

    + Responsible for the placing and underwriting of personal lines within the authority delegated by the Sales Department.

    + Oversee the claims activity and adherence to the authority granted by the Claims Department.

    + Responsible for the collection of premiums in compliance with set goals.

    + Responsible for developing, overseeing and implementing a quality control review process to assure the production of quality work and the provision of excellent customer service.

    + Keep informed of changes and trends within the industry for the purpose of anticipating and responding to profit objectives.

    + Conduct business in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of both the business and earnings implications of the Company.

    + Other responsibilities as assigned by the Manager.

    Qualifications:

    + Five years personal lines insurance experience in an insurance agency.

    + Supervisory experience.

    + Producer’s license.

    + Experience with Microsoft Office products.

    + Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

    + Attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials.

    + Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.

    + Ability to shift priorities and meet deadlines.

     

    Department General Management

     

    Required Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience

     

    Required Travel: Negligible

     

    Required Education: High school or equivalent
