Job Summary:

Our interventional and diagnostic cardiology practice seeks an additional physician to join our collaborative team in Blacksburg Virginia.

Qualified candidates:

+ Must be a lawful permanent resident or legal member of the US

+ Must be board-eligible or board-certified

+ Ability to obtain a VA medical license, and DEA license

+ Fellowship trained in specialty

+ Peripheral skills/interest a plus

+ Provide high-quality inpatient care and work collaboratively with other physicians and dedicated patient care teams

+ Strong clinical and communication skills, a team mentality, and an enthusiastic and innovative approach

+ Emergent PCI 24/7 program with better than average STEMI times

+ Full diagnostic services including angiography, CT, echo

+ The practice has two busy interventional cardiologists and two cardiac nurse practitioners

+ Opportunity to participate in medical education through hospital residency programs if desired
