    Job Summary:

    Mission Health is excited to welcome **experienced** trauma physician assistants to join our team in Asheville, North Carolina.

    Qualified Candidates:

    + Completion of an accredited physician assistant program with appropriate certification exams

    + **Requires experience as a practicing PA in a hospitalist, trauma or surgery setting**

    + Experience with autonomy re: admitting, resuscitating, and rounding on patients

    Highlights:

    + Work with a large, stable and established group of surgeons

    + Surgical Resident interaction and support on trauma; surgical critical care

    + 100% inpatient

    + Minimum 6 shifts required per two-week pay period

    + Day, night and float shifts required

    + Shift incentives available for exceeding minimum shift requirement

    + Limited OR time, with ample opportunity to perform procedures in trauma bay and on floor
