National and Alamo has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician performs car and bus service, repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and buy back/turn back service according to company policy and procedures. This is a position of routine difficulty requiring the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.

+ Pay for this position is $17.50/hr with opportunity of overtime pay of 26.25/hr his position offers up to an additional $1/hr for additional ASE certifications

+ There is opportunity for upward mobility

+ This position is located at the Palm Beach International Airport

+ Schedule: Apart from religious observations must have open availability to work 7 days a week including days, afternoons, nights, weekends and holidays.

The schedule for this position is:

Monday: 2:00pm - 10:30pm

Tuesday: 2:00pm - 10:30pm

Wednesday: OFF

Thursday: OFF

Friday: 2:00pm - 10:30pm

Saturday: 2:00pm - 10:30pm

Sunday: 10:00am - 6:30pm

Responsibilities

+ Ensure all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturer's specifications and guidelines.

+ Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.

+ Perform vehicle servicing/repairing to maintain company standards with a focus on limiting the number of out of service units

+ Maintain safe and clean work area

+ Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

+ Minimum of 1 year experience handling mechanical service procedures to perform fleet maintenance activities

+ Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years

+ no drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI)

+ Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

+ Requires ownership of standard hand tools to perform basic maintenance and repair responsibilities

+ Schedule: Apart from religious observations must have open availability to work 7 days a week including days, afternoons, nights, weekends and holidays . Must have availability for schedule to change in the future. + Must be willing to accept the starting pay of $17.50/hour
