Position Purpose
Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Lead Central Sterile Supply Tech to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators. Our vision is to provide state-of-the-art healthcare to those within our local communities, creating a positive impact for everyone that walks through our doors.
What you will do
+ Decontaminate, process, and reassemble instruments for sterilization and safely operate all steam, Sterrad and EtO sterilizers and effectively utilize cart washer and washer-decontaminators.
+ Compiles, and reports on case cart and instrument processing issues and errors and works with OR Manager to coordinate daily operations.
+ Must Communicate information pertinent to the case cart system to OR Manager and staff and assists with storage system design and organization.
_Minimum Qualifications_
+ **Education** : High School diploma or equivalent.
+ **Certification** : NICHSPDP or IAHCSMM Technician Certification Required. Organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with physicians, residents, nursing staff, patient care staff, administrators, patients and families required.
