    Our prestigious client, a leading global pharmaceutical innovator, renowned for developing and producing an extensive range of groundbreaking pharmaceuticals, life-saving vaccines, and advanced animal health solutions, is seeking an Animal Research Scientist to join their dynamic and collaborative team.

     

    **Type:** Contract

    **Location:** Boston, MA

    **Rate:** $30-35/hr

    _Responsibilities:_

    + Support preclinical discovery programs in the Boston In Vivo Quantitative Biosciences group focused on oncology drug discovery.

    + Conduct cell culture and prepare in vivo samples for analysis.

    + Formulate compounds and administer doses to laboratory animals.

    + Report and analyze data from experiments, including ELISA or MSD-based assays.

    + Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and effective project outcomes

    _Qualifications:_

    **Education** : Minimum of an AS/BS/BA in Biology, Animal Science, or relevant fields.

    **Laboratory Experience** : 3-6 years of hands-on laboratory experience, specifically with lab mice.

    **Technical Skills** :

    + Proficient in animal handling techniques, including restraint and dosing (particularly via intravenous/tail vein administration).

    + Skilled in compound preparation and formulation.

    + Proficiency in cell culture techniques.

    + Experience performing ELISA or similar assays.

    + Familiarity with data graphing software such as Excel or GraphPad PRISM is a plus.
