    Responsibilities

    The Director of International Logistics leads all import and export activities for the Global Lottery business, as well as the logistics functions and spare parts warehouse in West Greenwich, Rhode Island. The Director will build a highly efficient and effective global supply chain by overseeing import trade compliance and customs broker, freight forwarder and carrier management. The Director will also manage a team responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipping, spare parts inventory management, warehousing and transportation ensuring delivery to regional field service teams.

    Key Roles & Responsibilities:

    + Build and maintain a global trade program ensuring compliance to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations and other global jurisdictions including HTS classification, valuation, and country of origin determination.

    + Manage all import licenses, permits, and certifications as required by government agencies.

    + Liaise with customs broker(s) to oversee all import and export filings and customs bond management.

    + Mange selected freight forwarder and freight carrier relationships. Monitor all shipments to ensure most cost efficient and timely routing.

    + Conduct formal reviews of 3rd party service level agreements (SLAs) to maintain best in class performance while minimizing freight and accessorial expenses.

    + Track all freight movement informing business partners (S&OP, Engineering, etc..) of delivery status

    + Lead the West Greenwich Shipping and Receiving team. Oversee logistics operations including parcel/LTL carrier interactions, document preparation, and material handling for the parts department and the repair facility

    + Provide support for warehouse management team, systems, and processes. Drive excellence in spare part order processing to meet customer needs.

    + Identify and implement WMS (SAP) continuous improvements.

    + Responsible for developing, proposing, and implementing the strategic vision for the Global Lottery logistics functions and integrating these initiatives cross-functionally across the organization.

    + Create relationships with all internal departments and leaders to achieve business results.

    + Effective management, supervision and coaching of the department/team to ensure effective performance and personal development. Effective implementation of corporate employee performance management processes.

    + Model behavior, provide advice and implement corrective actions to employees to improve and maintain professional standards.

    + Develop and implement continuous improvements in warehousing, distribution, reverse logistics, trade compliance, and carrier management strategies.

    + Create, develop, and monitor KPI metrics for warehousing and logistics and provide updates and recommendations that improve overall customer satisfaction and profitability.

    + Manage preventative maintenance of warehouse equipment and tools.

    + Manage, control, and supply Global Lottery Field Services and Lottery sales customers with spare parts to support contracted services and meet company objectives

    + Provide all Supply Chain groups with all required business analytics and reporting.

    + Utilize in-depth understanding of procurement practices in the logistics space to partner with In-direct Procurement on RFPs

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics or related field

     

    Preferred Education: Masters degree in Business Administration or related field

     

    Minimum Experience: 7 years

     

    Preferred Experience: 10 years

     

    Required Licenses/Certifications: Association of Supply Chain Management certifications--CPIM, CLTD, CSCP; Licensed Customs Broker or Certification in Trade Compliance is a plus: Requires strong knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office Suite

    _At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $117,880 - $240,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable._

     

    _Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
