Job Duties:
+ Work safely and maintain a safe work area in accordance with company policies and procedures
+ Lead product development activities by operating residential HVAC equipment, controlling test facilities, and collecting and reviewing experimental test data
+ Lead installation, modification, and builds of developmental residential HVAC equipment and components, following engineering, agency, and test requirements
+ Work with Test Engineering and other Technicians to install and utilize laboratory test equipment including data acquisition systems, power analyzers, flow equipment, pressure, and temperature measurement devices
+ Troubleshooting and repair of HVAC equipment
Must Have:
+ 3+ years work experience in related field
+ Experience in laboratory setting and all the use associated equipment necessary to evaluate an HVAC system's performance/reliability is preferred
+ Experience related to refrigeration related thermodynamic principles, and mechanical troubleshooting issues
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook) required
We Value:
+ Completion of an HVAC training program at an accredited school
+ EPA Type Universal Certification
+ Demonstrates basic knowledge of measuring/inspection instruments and or mechanical and electrical components and their principles, properties, and theories
+ Proficient understanding of schematics, reading, and interpreting engineering drawings, technical reports, safety rules, operation, and maintenance instructions
+ Ability to understand and follow work instructions/applicable test standards
+ Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of complex variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills in order to listen and speak effectively before groups of employees in the organization
+ Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced team environment
