    Responsibilities

    Develop and implement policies, procedures and strategies related to the physician practice operations.

     

    + Develop goals, plans, and standards consistent with clinical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.

    + Plan, organize, and direct all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.

    + Prepare operational and departmental budgets and ensure compliance with allocated funding. Coordinate and direct internal/external audits.

    + Direct and evaluate practice activities to achieve performance and quality control objectives.

    Requirements

    Education:

    + High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.

    Additional Preferences

    + Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or related field

    + Experience in physician practice operations

    + Strong leadership and organizational skills

    + High level of interpersonal and communication skills to engage teams and providers
