    Iowa Bridge & Culvert is expanding! We are looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics to repair a variety of equipment used in Heavy Highway/Civil Construction including but not limited to lattice boom crawler and rough terrain cranes, excavators, bulldozers, end loaders, skid loaders, generators as well as various other types of heavy machinery.

     

    We are looking for a dedicated individual who is mechanically inclined and is capable of working without direct supervision.

    The Ideal Candidate would be responsible for:

    + Troubleshooting and performing repairs on all types of heavy equipment including but not limited to: cranes, excavators, bulldozers, skid loaders, etc.

    + Knowledge and understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.

    + Maintaining complete and detailed service records for all work that has been completed.

    + The ability to work on equipment in the field under a variety of environmental conditions.

    + Class B CDL or the ability to acquire a Class B CDL (Air Brake Endorsement is not required)

     

    The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, preferably in the Construction Industry. Familiarity with both hydraulic and friction type cranes is preferred. Must have basic math skills and be able to read, write, and understand English.

     

    Wages based on experience and ability.
