    Reyes Fleet Management is hiring immediately at our Reyes Coca Cola Bottling facility in Alsip, IL. Seeking a Fleet Diesel Mechanic A to help with repairs and maintenance on trailer/tractor equipment.

     

    Shift: Full-Time l 3rd Shift Sunday - Thursday 9:00PM-5:30AM Pay: $35.44/HR

    Position Responsibilities:

    + The Fleet Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of fleet diesel equipment, as well as the diagnostics and rebuilding of clutches and brake systems

    + As a Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders related to repairs and preventative maintenance using the online AssetWorks system

    + You will operate a company vehicle to diagnose and repair equipment as part of roadside service calls

    + You will ensure that equipment has the required licensing and registration before being deemed "roadworthy"

    + You will install, replace, and repair onboard computers (XRS or XataNet) and/or cameras (DriveCam)

    + You will work in accordance with company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations to ensure safety

    + Other duties as assigned

    Required Education and Experience:

    + High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 3 plus years of related experience

    + Ability to lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds

    + Must have a valid Driver’s License to operate applicable company vehicles

    + Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)

    Preferred Education and Experience:

    + Technical School Certification
