CTG is seeking to fill a Technical Engineer III opening for our client in Wilmington, DE.

**Location:** Wilmington, DE

**Duration:** 12 months

Overview:

+ Serves as an advanced technologist for an individual technology or set of technologies.

+ Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and ongoing support of infrastructure and application solutions.

+ Ideal candidate will have experience in encryption engineering, PKI support, and automation/API integration.

Primary Responsibilities:

+ Collaborate with Technology management, senior engineers, and support teams to develop and implement technical solutions.

+ Lead infrastructure review, design, implementation, and documentation efforts.

+ Develop standards, policies, and technical documentation to support architectural frameworks.

+ Analyze and test new technologies and processes to ensure alignment with business needs.

+ Engage regularly with business partners across all levels to ensure technical clarity and gather business requirements.

+ Manage and coordinate vendor relationships and resources as necessary.

+ Mentor and guide junior engineers, technicians, and integrators.

+ Review and approve documentation and proposed changes from less experienced staff.

+ Continuously expand knowledge of financial services technology trends and best practices.

+ Promote industry standards and procedures within the team and organization.

+ Maintain detailed knowledge of internal systems, development environments, and third-party technologies used by the bank.

+ Ensure compliance with internal risk, regulatory standards, and audit requirements.

+ Support a diverse and inclusive work environment that reflects the M&T Bank brand.

+ Perform other related duties as assigned.

Scope of Responsibilities:

+ Plays a key role in the successful execution of technology solutions critical to the bank’s infrastructure.

+ Must be capable of working independently, solving complex technical challenges, and collaborating across teams.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

+ May provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.

+ No direct supervisory responsibilities.

Education and Experience Required:

+ Combined minimum of 6 years of higher education and/or work experience in systems design, management, and/or architecture.

+ Experience in:

+ Encryption Engineering

+ PKI Support

+ Automation and API Integration

Education and Experience Preferred:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

+ Minimum 6 years in a technical engineering role involving:

+ Infrastructure design technologies

+ Data management and interchange

+ Complex systems design and/or development

+ Advanced technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

+ Proficiency in translating business and functional requirements into structured implementations.

+ Strong knowledge of server/client and virtual technologies.

+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

+ Skilled in stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering.

+ Understanding of system integration and dependencies.

+ Process-oriented, logical thinker, and quick learner.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
