Summary:

The position of Ground Technician I will work cooperatively with other team members to provide quality products to our customers in a timely, cost-efficient manner following all policies, procedures and protocols. This individual will communicate with team members as well as the manager daily.

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Provide complete, high level customer products/service and support for customers and other Custom Truck facilities.

+ Process requests of manager in an accurate and timely manner.

+ Diagnose departmental issues and communicate issues with manager.

+ Stay up to date on all procedure or process changes and utilize appropriate tools to improve process efficiency.

+ Provide high quality workmanship.

Required Skills and Qualifications

+ The person in this position frequently communicates with others who have operational inquiries.

+ Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

+ Basic understanding of RubberTesting.net.

+ Proficient at building or repairing a ground cable including logging, disassembly, cleaning, repairing and testing without oversight or guidance while maintaining a high-quality standard.

+ May be required to go out on change outs.

+ Experience working in a results-oriented, team environment.

+ Must have good time management skills.

+ Ability to enter data into computer or tablet.

+ Dexterity required to utilize power tools, and other tools required to do the job.

+ Ability to work in a safe environment and respect those around you.

+ Must be able to observe and interpret operational data.

+ Ability to learn technical material.

Working Conditions

+ Attendance – The ability to work as scheduled with punctual attendance 7:00 am-3:30 pm, Monday-Friday plus any additional hours/days necessary in order to meet business demand.

+ Majority of work performed in a shop/warehouse setting

Physical Requirements

+ The ability to bend, stoop and lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Frequent lifting (10-50 lbs.), carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; above 42", some bending, kneeling, crouching throughout an 8-10 hour day, and up to 50 hours per week

+ Ability to see things in close proximity whether through natural or corrected vision

+ Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods on concrete and uneven surfaces for at least 8 hours per day
