• Accounting Manager

    Robert Half Finance & Accounting (North Hollywood, CA)


    Description

    We are in search for an Accounting Manager to join our client within the non-profit and entertainment industry. In this role, you will be a key player in the Finance department, tasked with preparing financial reports, overseeing accounting processes, and providing guidance to entry level staff members.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and manage the full cycle of accounting activities

    • Prepare and draft internal financial reports and analytics for senior management

    • Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis

    • Ensure accurate monthly bank reconciliations and cash forecasts

    • Assist in the preparation and management of the annual budget and forecasts

    • Supervise the preparation of month-end journal entries

    • Liaise with external auditors and manage the annual audit and tax preparation process

    • Spearhead special projects and process improvement initiatives within the accounting department

    • Oversee the duties of the Accountant, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

    • Perform other accounting-related duties as required or assigned.

    Requirements

    • Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions

    • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

    • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Familiarity with Auditing procedures

    • Ability to manage Billing Functions

    • Experience with Full Cycle Accounting

    • Ability to handle Month-end Close Activities

    • Strong Supervisory management skills
