As a Staff Accountant in our Corporate Accounting team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, assist in SEC reporting, and manage lease and joint venture accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist in the preparation of SEC filings, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and 8-Ks.

+ Maintain and reconcile corporate accounting records and general ledger accounts.

+ Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather financial data and disclosures for external reporting.

+ Ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC regulations, and company policies.

+ Manage and maintain lease accounting records in accordance with ASC 842.

+ Assist with joint venture accounting, including equity method accounting.

+ Participate in month-end and year-end close processes.

+ Support external audit activities and provide audit documentation as needed.

+ Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance department.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

+ CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

+ 2+ years of relevant corporate accounting experience.

+ Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements preferred.

+ Experience with lease accounting (ASC 842) and joint venture accounting is a plus.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

+ Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
