• Accounting Manager/Supervisor

    Description

    We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Coral Gables, Florida. In this role, you will be integral to the organization's financial operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, managing internal reporting, and collaborating with various departments for planning and analysis.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee general ledger accounting and ensure adherence to GAAP reporting standards.

    • Handle financial statement consolidations and prepare comprehensive income statements.

    • Lead the implementation of new software to streamline processes and establish best practices.

    • Manage all internal financial reporting, including ad-hoc reporting.

    • Conduct analysis of key accounting tasks and provide support where necessary.

    • Collaborate proactively with other departments for planning, analysis, and reporting.

    • Carry out cash flow analysis and maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable.

    • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of AMEX expenses.

    • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as needed.

    • Implement and manage accounting software systems, such as Great Plains

    *** Must be fully Bilingual English and Spanish

    Skills:

    • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Great Plains, Concur, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.

    • Deep understanding of accounting functions, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), auditing, and billing functions.

    Requirements

    • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential

    • Familiarity with ERP software such as Great Plains

    • Proficiency in using Concur is desirable

    • Must have a good understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

    • Should have the ability to perform various Accounting Functions

    • Must have experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

    • Experience in Accounts Receivable/Payables (AR/AP) is a must

    • Must possess skills in Auditing
