    Job Summary

    A construction is seeking a dragline operator for our aggregate operations in Garland, Pennsylvania. Previous experience preferred.

    Main Responsibilities

    + Promote safe work practices and an excellent safety culture

    + Responsible for safe and efficient operation of a dragline

    + Complete daily inspection and checklist

    + Participate in safety huddles daily

    + Responsible to follow all onsite MSHA and environmental requirements and guidelines

    + Perform routine maintenance and any necessary dragline repairs as needed

    + Responsible for reporting incidents and accidents to supervisors

    + Responsible to inform plant superintendent or supervisors of any potential safety hazards

     

    Skills

     

    + Knowledge and skills to operate a dragline safely and efficiently

    + Communication skills

    + Mechanical skills to perform routine maintenance and repairs

    Physical Requirements

    + Able to work in various outdoor weather conditions

    + Able to stand, walk, sit, enter and exit large equipment

    + Able to use arms, hands, and fingers

    + Able to lift and handle objects
