Job Description:

Collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world

As Application Engineer you will play a key role for Successful project completion and/or commercialization, achievement of key technical milestones, increased customer satisfaction via technical troubleshooting or support for growth/maintenance sales in the division of Personal Safety for Argentina . In this role you will be able to direct influence on business results and assumes leadership role for technical activities. High impact regulatory and standard development activities and may be recognized as a consultant or opinion leader in the industry.

The impact you will make in this role

+ You will drive “innovation culture" based on insights/trends

+ You will implement and execute technical support programs

+ You will motivate multi-country technical/cross-functional teams

+ This position is intended to provide and receive technical training to internal /external customers including industry experts

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Chemist

+ Ideal to have experience in regulatory and standards development.

+ Advance English

+ Occupational Health and Safety experience (7 years)

+ Experience in virtual interactions tools

+ Field trip – 50%-70% time

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

+ Personal Protective Equipment knowledge mainly in respiratory, hearing and fall protection. National and international regulatory framework. Ideal to have experience in regulatory and standards development. Ideal to know about test methods for PPE and its technologies.
