Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• No experience required and on the job training provided

• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer service experience

• 1 year of similar work experience

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain buildings/facilities

• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures

• Notify Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems

• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.

• Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities

• Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment

• Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas, either manually or by using hand trucks

• Job Functions

+ · Scheduled stripping, scrubbing, buffing, refinishing or sealing of different types of hard surfaced floors using appropriate equipment and chemicals.

+ · Scheduled carpet cleaning using approved methods and chemicals.

+ · Spot cleaning of carpets as needed.

+ · Responsible for securing working area, using appropriate safety barricades, and removing when duties are completed and area is safe for public use.

+ · Maintain the cleanliness of all Equipment being utilized and to report any issues with the equipment to the supervisors immediately.

+ · Report any safety hazards as noticed during routine work assignment.

+ · Follow all safety and personnel rules and regulations in the carrying out of assigned work.

+ · Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

+ · At least 1 year of experience caring for/cleaning carpets and floor surfaces in an industrial or commercial setting

+ · Must be knowledgeable about the care of different types of commercial carpeting / flooring.

+ · Must have working knowledge of chemicals used for different types of commercial carpeting / flooring.

+ · Must have ability to operate machinery required for duties according to safety standards.

+ · Must be able to perform all physical aspects of the above job duties.
