    Job Summary

    + Performs cashier duties, takes phone orders, restocks shelves, create balloon bouquets and wrap packages.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Demonstrates Competency in the Following Areas:

    + Professional Requirements:

    + Records all transactions and handles all paperwork being processed to the accounting department.

    + Performs inventory counts, restocks shelves, unpacks shipments, makes deliveries and prepares orders for shipment.

    + Conducts over the counter sales of merchandise.

    + Assists manager in general housekeeping and maintenance of stockroom.

    + Responsible for balancing cash register at the end of shift and reporting any shortages immediately.

    + Maintains store operations in the absence of the manager.

    + Takes phone orders from customers.

    + Writes legibly.

    + Channels communications to appropriate personnel.

    + Education/Regulatory Requirements:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    + Language Skills:

    + Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

    + Skills:

    + Moderate to advanced computer and data entry skills.
