Description:

+ As a Sr Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer, you will influence the planning and designing of manufacturing processes and products.

+ You will help the team achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification for both existing and new processes and products.

+ You will maximize efficiency by analyzing product requirements, workflow, capacity, assembly methods, and work force utilization.

+ Support daily production activities and drive producibility improvement projects for new products in a challenging environment.

Responsibilities:

+ Provide test and manufacturing support for MEMS inertial, microelectronics, and magnetic and pressure sensor products.

+ Perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability, product health trends and drive yield improvements. Statistically analyze data to help evaluate and qualify process and product changes.

+ Utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices.

+ Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitate issue identification and analysis.

+ Develop improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions.

+ Assist development of new products.

+ Support knowledge for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow.

+ Facilitate a self-driven work force culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals.

+ Test products & software

Must have:

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics

+ 5+ years of engineering experience

+ Experience with silicon fab, MEMS sensors, pressure and magnetic sensors.

+ Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.

+ Ability to balance priorities in daily tasks and strategic projects.

+ Hands on work ethic. Initiative and ownership of responsibilities and actions.

+ Ability to partner and collaborate well with team members across functions.

+ Ability to quickly and accurately identifying subtle interrelationships and patterns among a variety of problems and issues (process and data correlation of cause/effect across value stream).

+ Experience and ability to use statistical analysis tools (like JMP, Minitab, SAS, RStudio, etc.) to efficiently analyze data.

+ Conveying information with clarity and directness, ensuring the message is understood across diverse teams.

+ Root Cause Corrective Action / Lean / Six Sigma.

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
