    As the Program Coordinator II you'll collaborate with leadership to shape the project's future, coordinate meetings, and work with schools and Texas Workforce to select students. You'll develop and enforce timelines, support project deliverables, and deliver impactful pre-ETS training, work-based learning experiences, and employment planning activities. Additionally, you'll organize advisory committee meetings to gather community feedback and provide training to teachers, parents, and community members on transition services, employer engagement, and community support.     Qualifications

    Required Education and Experience:

    + Bachelor’s degree in such fields as Special Education, Vocational Rehabilitation, Social Work, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

    + 4 years of experience in coordinating projects and/or programs related to adolescents/youth with disabilities and teaching or providing transition services to transition-aged students with or without disabilities

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Master’s degree in special education, vocational rehabilitation, or related field

    + Some experiences in offering work-based learning or other learning opportunities to students with or without disabilities

    + Six or more years of experience in coordinating projects and/or programs related to adolescents/youth with disabilities and teaching or providing transition services to transition-aged students with or without disabilities

    + Leadership or related areas

    Responsibilities

    Program Coordination:

    + Oversees and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the TAMU iGROW Project

    + Assists in establishing short- and long-term goals and strategic planning for the project

    + Assists PI's and fiscal personnel with daily fiscal and purchasing activities, and proposes expenses

    + Assists in the preparation and monitoring of budgets for the project

    + Provides training and technical assistance to schools in their implementation of the mini-grant activities

    + Collaborates with stakeholders to offer regional learning opportunities for schools to learn from each other

    + Serves as the point of contact for schools on Project activities

    + Leads project reporting efforts and assists in establishing objectives, policies and procedures related to the project

    + Identify relevant community and agency supports, as well as other stakeholder who play important roles in expanding and supporting the workforce within the disability networks; work with partners and stakeholders to increase the community, school, and student’s capacity to learn the skills to obtain competitive integrated employment in the communities where they live, learn, work, and play

    Research/Evaluation Activities:

    + Participates in an evaluation team to design and implement evaluation tools for the iGROW project

    + Identifies and collaborates with potential partners in research and evaluation

    + Supports data collection with iGROW team

    Information Dissemination:

    + Supports the gathering and sharing of information related to iGROW to recruit, train, and share relevant information about the program

    + Identifies key modes of communication in the community
