Description

We are a legal services firm based in Miami Lakes, Florida, currently in search of a Senior Trial Attorney. In this role, you will be responsible for handling client cases and leading high-value litigation from inception to conclusion. This position offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for someone with a comprehensive knowledge of personal injury law and a strong passion for justice. Responsibilities:

• Leading high-stakes litigation cases from complaint to verdict, focusing on cases involving catastrophic injuries and high-value policy limits.

• Conducting mediations, delivering compelling arguments in court, and deposing expert witnesses.

• Providing mentorship to entry-level litigation staff and overseeing paralegals and case managers.

• Ensuring compliance across litigation teams and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Handling a diverse range of cases, including those related to commercial truck crashes, red-light crashes, and commercial carrier incidents.

• Preparing for future trials, including cases involving neurocognitive injuries, brain injury, femoral fractures, and post-concussion syndrome.

• Utilizing various skills and software, such as 3M, Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, Conveyancer, Document Management, Briefing, Civil Litigation, Claim Administration, and Complaint Handling.

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Trial Attorney or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in using 3M and Adobe Acrobat is required.

• Must have extensive experience in using Case Management Software.

• Familiarity with Conveyancer is essential.

• Must demonstrate proficiency in Document Management.

• Experience in Briefing is necessary.

• Must have significant experience in Civil Litigation.

• Experience in Claim Administration is a must.

• Must have a proven track record in Complaint Handling.

• Familiarity with Consumer Electronics industry is necessary.

• Must be well-versed in Personal Injury Law.
