Description

We are in search of an experienced Paralegal Personal Injury to join our team in the legal industry based in Miami Lakes, Florida. The role involves managing all aspects of personal injury cases, from case intake to the filing of lawsuits, and ensuring effective client care. If interested, call Jodi Cohen at 786-698-7145.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of personal injury cases from intake to lawsuit filing

• Coordinate regular client appointments with orthopedic or specialized doctors for effective medical management

• Maintain the damages/medical bills tab meticulously in Litify

• Contribute actively to the gathering of information for discovery responses

• Expedite the ordering of medical records and bills with persistent follow-ups

• Ensure that all medical records are meticulously organized by provider in chronological order

• Keep files well-organized and up to date in Litify

• Make monthly courtesy calls to provide updates and check-ins with clients

• Collaborate professionally with attorneys, paralegals, and office staff

• Utilize 'Aderant', 'Adobe Acrobat', 'Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS)', 'Case Management Software', 'CompuLaw', 'Billing Functions', 'Briefing', 'Calendar Management', 'Claim Administration', 'Communication', 'Litigation - Civil' skills effectively for various tasks.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal in Personal Injury

• Proficiency in Aderant software

• Skilled in using Adobe Acrobat

• Familiarity with the Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS)

• Experience with Case Management Software

• Knowledge of CompuLaw software

• Ability to handle billing functions effectively

• Experience in briefing and case preparation

• Skills in calendar management for court hearings, meetings, etc.

• Proven track record in claim administration

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Experience in civil litigation processes and procedures.
