Description

Robert Half is supporting a client in the search for an Entry-Level Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have litigation experience and a passion for public service. You will represent the organization in legal proceedings, support senior attorneys, and help ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws. This is an on-site opportunity in Downtown Atlanta, Georgia.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Provide legal representation in litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses

+ Support hearings, mediations, and trials to represent the entity’s interests

+ Assist with legal research and analysis to support ongoing cases

+ Collaborate with senior attorneys to prepare case strategies and briefs

+ Advise organizational leaders on compliance with governmental regulations and legal risk mitigation

+ Maintain accurate records and case documentation

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

+ Active license to practice law in Georgia

+ 0-3 years of litigation experience preferred, including familiarity with courtroom procedure and document drafting

+ Knowledge of tax appeals, labor laws, or civil procedures is a plus

+ Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills

+ Commitment to serving the public and working collaboratively within a diverse team
