    About this Role

     

    Taylor’s Construction, a Quanta Services company, is searching for a highly skilledDirector of Engineering – Telecommunicationsto join our team located inWaynesboro, VAand will play a key role in driving the company’s expansion into new areas such as design and permitting.

     

    The Director of Engineering – Telecommunications will lead and oversee all engineering activities, with a focus on growing the company's portfolio and expanding into new service areas. This role requires a forward-thinking leader who is capable of managing complex engineering projects and contributing to the development of design and permitting services.

     

    What You'll Do

     

    + Oversee and manage the engineering department, ensuring successful project execution and operational efficiency.

    + Lead and expand the company's expertise in desktop, surveys, and walkouts, and spearhead the transition into design and permitting services.

    + Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities and ensure that engineering strategies align with overall business goals.

    + Actively develop new client relationships and foster growth within existing accounts.

    + Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

    + Provide leadership, mentoring, and development to engineering teams.

    + Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.

     

    What You'll Bring

     

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications or related field.

    + Professional Engineer (PE) license(Preferred)

    + Proven experience in telecommunications, engineering and management.

    + Strong knowledge of desktop services, surveys, walkouts, design, and permitting processes.

    + Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

    + Excellent communication and client relationship-building skills.

    + Experience with business development and expanding service offerings.

    + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and growing environment.
