Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Banquet Server to join our team at The Gideon Putnam in Saratoga Springs, New York. As a Banquet Server, you will provide outstanding guest service while serving food and beverages in a banquet setting, ensuring that The Gideon Putnam guests' needs are being met in a positive, efficient, and courteous manner.

Pay

$15.90 - $15.90 / hour

What will you do?

+ Set up tables following the banquet event order.

+ Serve food, take and fill drink orders, answer questions, remove dirty dishes.

+ Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, request identification, adhere to all alcohol service policies and procedures.

+ Monitor guest needs ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled; handle any guest complaints.

+ Break down events according to company procedures.

More about you

+ Must be 18 years of age or older.

+ Excellent guest service skills.

+ Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

+ Strong communication skills, including listening skills and ability to take food and beverage orders and fill those orders correctly.

+ Must be able to complete online training courses.

Physical requirements

+ Ability to stand or walk, including up and down stairs, for the entire length of shift.

+ Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

+ Mobility to maneuver between tables.
