POSITION: Events and Operations Rotational Intern

We are looking for an Events and Operations Rotational Intern to be a part of our Events Department. You will work closely with our Events team to ensure we are providing excellent customer services and helping maintain a high level of excellence when putting on different types of events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

+ Assist in ensuring proactive planning, communication, and execution of a wide variety of events including shows and meetings.

+ Assist in drafting event resumes and banquet event orders.

+ Assist the Director of Events in day-to-day administrative tasks.

+ Work with vendors on event logistics to meet planning deadlines.

+ Assist with exhibitor requests and orders.

+ Draft basic floor plans for events.

+ Shadow security department to learn protocols.

+ Assist operations department with event sets.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

+ Working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree.

+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

+ Strong analytical skills: ability to organize large amounts of information.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

+ Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment; flexible
