    The Project Estimator at Cennox will play a key role in analyzing project specifications and developing accurate cost estimates for both small and large-scale projects. This role involves preparing detailed proposals, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. The Estimator will review RFPs and bid documents, participate in client meetings, and ensure that estimates align with Cennox’s goals and profit margins. The position requires up-to-date knowledge of material costs, industry trends, and labor rates, along with strong communication and negotiation skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Analyze project specifications, drawings, and scope of work to develop accurate cost estimates.

    + Prepare detailed proposals, including labor, material, and subcontractor costs.

    + Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure budget alignment.

    + Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

    + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of material costs, industry trends, and labor rates.

    + Review RFPs and bid documents, ensuring all requirements are met.

    + Participate in client meetings, presentations, and contract negotiations as needed.

    + Ensure that all estimates align with company goals and expected profit margins.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    + Proven experience as an Estimator in construction, preferably in commercial tenant improvements.

    + Strong knowledge of estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, PlanSwift, or similar).

    + Understanding of construction methods, materials, and labor costs.

    + Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.

    + Strong communication and negotiation skills.

    + Detail-oriented with the ability to work under deadlines.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required).
