Pay Rate:

_The pay rate for this job is $45 - $45 / hour*_

What you'll be doing as a Excavator Operator:

+ Operating excavators and other heavy machinery according to best practices and safety standards

+ Inspecting excavator and related equipment for any malfunctions or need for maintenance

+ Reading and understanding blueprints, ground plans, or land surveys as necessary

+ Excavating soil, rocks, and other materials, managing the controls for digging and moving loads

+ Coordinating with other crew members and working in a team environment

+ Following instructions and guidelines from supervisors or project managers

+ Ensuring that the machinery is cleaned and stored properly at the end of each shift

+ Observing all safety guidelines and procedures, including wearing protective gear and making sure construction sites are safe

+ Reporting any issues or problems related to the machinery to the supervisor

Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

+ Knowledge and appreciation of heavy equipment safety and operation

+ Skilled in road construction and safe operation of front-end loaders, dozers, graders, excavators, etc.

+ Knowledge of equipment cleaning, maintenance, and storage procedures

+ Knowledge of basic first aid and safety procedures

+ Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks according to work schedule

+ Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency

+ Ability and willingness to communicate, follow directions and work well with others

+ Ability To enter and exist heavy machinery while maintaining three points of contact, awareness of surroundings and multi-limb coordination

+ Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry heavy objects (over 100 lbs.)

+ Ability to perform free of drugs and alcohol; including prescription drugs that may hinder the ability to perform the essential functions of the job

+ Must have Valid Drivers License
