Job Overview:

Implements Physical therapy treatment in coordination with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

Required:

+ Doctorate in Physical Therapy

+ Current NJ Licensure

+ BLS certification

Preferred:

+ APTA Member

+ CI Certification by APTA

+ NICU experience preferred

Essential Functions:

+ Collaborates scheduling of inpatient caseload in conjunction with supervisor

+ Demonstrates compliance with inpatient billing process

+ Demonstrates the ability to identify what the patient/member educational needs are

+ Directly supervises the clinical work of the technicians and keeps the supervisor and managers informed

+ Educates internal and external customers

+ Keeps accurate and up-to-date patient records

+ Makes recommendations for services outside of the discipline

+ Participates in the interdisciplinary patient/member teaching process

+ Records appropriate statistical information in and accurate timely manner

+ Supervises students

+ Evaluate, treat and re-evaluate inpatients to meet the established Standard of Care. Assesses, organizes, and implements outcome tools into professional practice when applicable

+ Maintains an open channel of communication among members of the interdisciplinary team involved in patient care including non-clinical support staff

Pay Range:

$ 45.54 minimum to $ 54.35 maximum Hourly Rate
