    Position Type: Part-Time

     

    UCH is seeking a motivated and responsible Bouncer to work in a fast-paced full-service Clubhouse located in the heart of our community at Summit Park Apartments ( www.summitphilly.com ). We encourage our residents to ‘Have Fun Where You Live’ and this role is critical in ensuring they can do just that!

    Responsibilities:

    + Monitor and maintain the safety and security of patrons and staff

    + Check for valid IDs to ensure legal age & residency compliance

    + Watch the crowd for altercations and/or unruly patrons or guests

    + Address and de-escalate conflicts professionally and respectfully

    + Enforce venue rules and policies while maintaining a friendly demeanor

    + Assist in crowd control and ensure capacity limits are adhered to

    + Protect company property and equipment from damage

    + Assist bartender in stocking the bar as needed

    Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma

    + Background Check Required

    + Personable and friendly attitude

    + A bility to multi-task

    + Prior experience in security, crowd control, or a related role is a plus

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    + Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
