DATA INTEGRITY & ENDPOINT DEPLOYMENT SUMMER INTERN

DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Data Integrity & Endpoint Deployment Intern to join our team during the busy summer months. The ideal candidate exhibits exceptional attention to detail, is self-motivated, and possesses excellent time management. This will be an in-person role at our integration center environment located in Commack, NY assisting in the imaging and deployment of laptop and Chromebook devices. In addition, we are looking for an individual who is positive, organized, and possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team and independently.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides general administrative support including:

+ Utilizes and updates the technology equipment delivery tracker daily (online platform) by gathering data from multiple sources.

+ Handles internal and external email, Microsoft Teams messages and telephone correspondence.

+ Possesses excellent customer service skills.

+ Coordinates some logistics for special deliveries.

+ Communicates directly with vendors to resolve shipping and/or ordering issues that may arise.

+ Cross-trains within the team and provides assistance as needed.

+ Builds professional relationships with other Ricoh team members.

+ Takes ownership of special projects

+ Performs additional administrative duties as assigned

Technical responsibilities:

+ Assist in imaging, deploying, and supporting Windows 10 and 11 Laptops.

+ Assist in imaging laptops, desktops, performing Windows updates and setting up user accounts.

+ Assist in deployment and support for Google Chromebooks.

REQUIREMENTS:

+ Detail-oriented and results driven and excellent communication skills.

+ Current university student or graduates/postgraduates. Must be available on a full-time basis between May and August.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

+ Proactive self-starter able to juggle multiple requests, while managing priority.

+ Presents a tidy and professional physical appearance to customers and colleagues in a way the represents Ricoh well.

+ Familiarity with Google Sheets/Docs and Microsoft Excel

+ Ability to track inventory physically and keep accurate inventory/reporting data.

+ Ability to unbox and box up equipment.

+ Ability to handle incoming and outgoing shipping as needed.

+ Ability to work onsite at client facility if required.

+ Proficient at troubleshooting Windows Laptops and Google Chromebooks.

+ Good understanding of networking, including LAN/WAN and Wireless.

+ Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365.

+ Comfortable making user account changes within Microsoft Active Directory.

+ Proficient with Google Workspace, and user level changes in Google Admin Portal.

Commack, NY

TIME PERIOD:

+ 12 week program

+ May – August

+ Business hours schedule

+ Up to 40 Hours a week typically, depending on work load
