Description We are on the lookout for a diligent Paralegal to be a part of our team. This role is primarily based in Dallas, Texas, and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. The Paralegal will be crucial in assisting our legal team in all phases of litigation matters. They will be vital in conducting legal research, gathering and organizing records, preparing legal documents, and coordinating requests among internal and external legal counsel.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting legal research and providing basic legal facts

• Assisting in managing cases

• Organizing and filing pleadings electronically

• Coordinating and scheduling legal calendars

• Gathering, organizing, and summarizing medical records

• Assisting in the preparation of legal documents

• Liaising between internal and external legal counsel for requests

• Reviewing and summarizing depositions

• Coordinating with courts, mediators, and opposing counsel for hearings, depositions, meetings, and mediations

• Preparing pre-trial and trial materials, including exhibits, exhibit lists, trial notebooks

• Assisting attorneys during courtroom trials

• Conducting State and Federal Filing

• Managing various tasks as directed by attorneys

• Maintaining complex records and files. Requirements

• Must have skills in briefing and summarizing insurance defense cases.

• Capable of managing and organizing calendars.

• Experience in claim administration is a must.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
