    We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Patient Care Coordinator sector located in Chandler, Arizona. As an Assc Patient Care Coordinator, you'll have a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services, from patient scheduling to insurance verifications.

    Responsibilities:

    • Accurately process and schedule patient appointments, ensuring a match between patient needs and services offered

    • Handle patient inquiries professionally, providing accurate information about their healthcare experience

    • Maintain accurate patient records, including contact info, demographic info, and insurance information

    • Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers, taking concise phone messages and routing them to the appropriate personnel

    • Ensure revenue cycle integrity by understanding and updating/verifying all needs related to revisit questionnaires, labs, and ancillary testing

    • Adhere to multi-disciplinary standardized scheduling protocol for providers and supporting care teams

    • Effectively utilize virtual patient support services, including pre-visit requirements, prior authorizations, and insurance/billing

    • Place outbound communication to schedule follow-up or care gap closure appointments

    • Interprets multidisciplinary protocol for complex scheduling in multiple modalities

    • Work effectively with scheduling reports, registries, and work queues in EMR and payer-generated reports to meet the needs of the system

     

    Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Customer Service, with a focus on empathetic and patient-centered care.

     

    • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

    • Familiarity with Office Functions, including administrative and clerical tasks.

    • Experience in Training staff members and implementing best practices.

    • Understanding of Policy within the healthcare sector, specifically those relevant to patient care.

    • Ability to Schedule Appointments efficiently, managing the calendars of healthcare professionals.

    • Commitment to Quality and continuous improvement in all tasks.

    • Proficiency in Scheduling systems, ensuring smooth operations and minimal patient wait times.

    • Knowledge of Insurance policies and procedures, including Insurance Verifications.

    • Ability to efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks ('About Time').

    • Comfort with Internet-based research and tasks.

    • Experience in Billing procedures within the healthcare industry.

    • Ability to Perform Ad Hoc Financial tasks as required.

    • Familiarity with Clinical Trial Operations, ensuring patient safety and protocol adherence.

    • Proficiency in using Video conferencing tools for virtual consultations.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    • Familiarity with HealthCare.gov policies and procedures.

    • Ability to liaise with Appropriate Personnel within the healthcare setting to ensure smooth operations.

    • Thorough knowledge of Health Care protocols, standards, and regulations.

    • An innovative mindset, with the ability to suggest and implement improvements.

    • Familiarity with offshore healthcare practices and policies.

    • Proficiency in Medical Terminology, ensuring clear and accurate communication.
