    Job Summary

    Barrett Paving Materials is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Pipe Layer Laborer to join our team in Mid West Central. The successful candidate will play a vital role in our construction and infrastructure projects, contributing to the installation of underground piping systems.

    Main Responsibilities

    + Assist in the layout and installation of piping systems, including stormwater, sewer, and water lines.

    + Prepare and clean work sites, ensuring all necessary materials and equipment are available.

    + Collaborate with pipe layers and construction crew to ensure safe and efficient work practices.

    + Operate hand and power tools, as well as heavy machinery as needed.

    + Dig trenches and prepare surfaces for pipe installation.

    + Maintain proper safety protocols and procedures on the job site.

    + Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues to the supervisor.

    + Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

    + Previous experience in construction, labor, or a related field is an advantage.

    + Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.

    + Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction environments.

    + Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.

    + Valid driver’s license is a must.
