    The Human Resource Generalist reports to the Director, HR Business Partner and will support multiple corporate departments. This role will oversee the daily work related to these groups, including but not limited to onboarding new hires, enforcing company policies and practices, executing HR projects and programs, addressing employee and manager concerns, and administering HRIS processes. This is an exempt position.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    + May oversee the daily workflow of department peers.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    + Facilitate the new hire orientation process to introduce new employees to company culture, policies, and procedures.

    + Administer and execute annual and ad-hoc human resource projects/programs which may involve training/advising managers, troubleshooting technical issues, and communicating pertinent information in a timely manner.

    + May coordinate and support training sessions.

    + May identify and propose training needs for teams and individuals.

    + Maintain up-to-date records of all employees.

    + Facilitate exit interviews and ensure the return of all company property.

    + Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR requirements.

    + Run and analyze recurring and/or ad-hoc reports to identify trends, understand current state situations, and/or model future-state scenarios to guide HR deliverables.

    + Ensure the organization's HR policies and procedures are followed and updated as necessary.

    + Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

    + Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

    + Provide support to the company’s policy committee including, but not limited to, managing policy translations and multiple versions of policy drafts.

    + Edit and format multiple PowerPoint files with embedded Excel charts on a monthly and quarterly basis

    + Maintain and format annual HR calendar

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

    + Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

    + Working knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

    + Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

    + Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems (Workday).

    Education and Experience:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.

    + At least 1-2 years of human resource specialist experience preferred.

    + Workday experience preferred.

    + SHRM-CP a plus.

    Physical Requirements:

    + Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

    + Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
