Job Title: AI/ML Architect

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Architect to define and implement AI/ML strategies, design and develop machine learning models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in AI/ML, particularly in audio and video detection and recognition, and be adept at optimizing models for performance and scalability.

Responsibilities

+ Define and implement AI/ML strategies to enhance product capabilities.

+ Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms tailored to product requirements.

+ Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and improve model accuracy and performance.

+ Collaborate with hardware engineers, software developers, and product managers to integrate AI/ML solutions into products.

+ Optimize AI/ML models for performance, scalability, and reliability.

+ Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and apply them to enhance products.

+ Document AI/ML processes, models, and results, and present findings to stakeholders.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum 10 years of experience with at least 3 years in AI, particularly in audio and video detection and recognition.

+ Experience with voice and video detection analysis.

+ Experience with multi-operating systems (Android, iOS).

+ Proficiency in embedded software, embedded C, video development software, voice recognition software, artificial intelligence, SQL, Android, and iOS.

+ Experience with designing backend and applications using major open-source AI libraries such as Llama, Whisper, etc.

+ Experience with GenAI, LLMs, and SLMs.

+ Experience with web backend development.

+ Experience with Windows, Android, and iOS application development.

Work Environment

The role requires onsite presence 3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday) at our Newark location. The manager and team will be in the office on the same days to ensure support and collaboration. This is not just for optics, but to foster a productive and supportive work environment. You will be developing cutting-edge technology and have the opportunity to build and shape the team, choosing languages and libraries that best fit our needs. The contract may be extended or lead to a permanent position if the consulting period is successful.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
