Job Title: General Labor Production
Job Description
As a General Labor Production worker, you will be primarily responsible for keeping an assigned area clean, with tasks such as shoveling and scooping grain dust. Once hired on, you will take on additional responsibilities including loading and unloading grain cars, operating wheel loaders, using computer systems to process data, and assisting with general housekeeping duties. You will also support the maintenance team and assist with railcar loading and unloading, as well as handling grain and feed.
Responsibilities
+ Shovel and scoop grain dust.
+ Keep assigned area clean.
+ Load and unload grain cars.
+ Operate wheel loaders.
+ Utilize computer systems to process data.
+ Perform general housekeeping duties including sweeping, dusting, and shoveling to keep equipment clean.
+ Assist the maintenance team as needed.
+ Assist with railcar loading and unloading.
+ Handle grain and feed.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum 6+ months experience in an outdoor position with exposure to elements such as dust and dirt.
+ 1 year of general labor experience in an industrial setting.
+ Ability to lift 75 lbs.
+ Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per day.
+ Comfortable working at heights of 10 feet, such as on grain bins with grated floors.
+ No allergies to soybeans.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in farming, ranching, or construction.
+ Experience with loading and unloading tasks.
+ Ability to operate agricultural equipment.
+ Skills in cleaning, maintenance repair, general labor, general repair, landscaping, and washing.
+ Experience in production and warehouse packing.

Work Environment
You will be working on an industrial site that has a farm-like feel, with many large buildings, grain bins, and equipment around. You will report to a supervisor but will work independently, staying busy with assigned tasks. The team size ranges from 5-7 members on the sanitation grain handler team at any time. The work schedule is flexible, with 20-30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The dress code requires steel-toe boots, jeans, and a long-sleeve t-shirt for safety.

This is a Contract position based out of Lincoln, Nebraska.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
