    Sodexo is hiring a **Food Production Manager 2** for **Adventist Health Castle in Kailua** , **Hawaii** . In this hands-on role, you'll lead and mentor a dedicated team, ensuring high-quality food production for patients, staff, and visitors. As a key manager, you'll oversee daily operations, maintain food safety standards, and drive efficiency while fostering a collaborative, team-oriented environment.     What You'll Do

    + Procurement: Work with vendors on procurement items. Responsible for purchasing manager and purchasing financial audits

    + implement innovative and fresh ideas in retail, catering and patient services

    + deliver high quality food services including retail, catering and patient meal management operations

    + achieve company and client financial targets and goals

    + develop strategic plans

    What You Bring

    + a strong culinary background, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends

    + a strong production culinary background, ideally in an up-scale restaurant/retail/catering environment

    + menu planning experience and a strong understanding of current culinary trends

    + a strong understanding of forecasting, food cost management, purchasing, inventory and labor management concepts

    + the ability to successfully lead, develop and train a team

    + Servsafe certified as well as working knowledge of HACCP and experience with Health and Safety audits
