• Population Health Analyst

    AnMed Health (Anderson, SC)


    This advanced analyst role supports AnMed’s vision and strategic population health initiatives using analytics and data integration to drive informed action to improve quality of care and operations. The analyst must have experience working with clinical and claims-based data and will be responsible for managing, designing, delivering, and interpreting population health needs into analytic solutions across the system. The analyst will be responsible for the deployment of reporting to a broad audience including executives, providers, and other clinical and non-clinical personnel. The analyst will be responsible for developing standard and ad-hoc reporting in partnership with operational leaders of AnMed, the local clinically integrated network, and regional ACO to help the organization drive successful performance in shared savings, quality, and risk contracts.

    Qualifications:

    + Master’s degree (preferred) or Bachelor’s in analytics, healthcare, or business or relevant industry certification (CPHQ, CHDA, Epic, etc)

    + Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in healthcare data/systems management, data integration, value based care, population health.

    + Health economics analysis and/or healthcare quality reporting knowledge including ICD, CPT coding HEDIS, star ratings and other clinical nomenclature.

    + Detail oriented with a strong technical aptitude for data validation and integration methods.

    + Skilled proficiency with Excel required.

    + Prefer prior experience with database design, SQL and visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI or other industry standard tool set.

    + Prefer prior experience with health care payer claims analysis, payer reporting, Premier Quality Advisor, Midas Care Management, Milliman Medinsight or other claims analytics tool.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize content and confidently provide data-driven recommendations to various stakeholders.

    + Exceptional organization and prioritization skills in a fast paced environment.
