Description

In this role you will be responsible for the supervision, monitoring and evaluation of the Transplant and Cellular Therapy Office staff.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Coordination of interdisciplinary care for transplant recipients and donors, throughout the care continuum.

+ Hiring, orientation, counseling and development of staff

+ Development and revision of office policies and procedures

+ Coordination and completion of reports for payors and accrediting agencies.

Salary Range: $140,200.00-$331,800.00/annuallyQualifications

Required:

+ Valid, CA RN License

+ BSN or MSN required

+ BLS Card from AHA or ARC

+ Oncology Certified (OCN, BMTCN, APHON, or AOCNP)

+ Ability to communicate with patients, referring physicians, transplant team members, insurance companies, governmental agencies, hospital staff, and other groups in a professional, diplomatic manner over the telephone and in person

+ Knowledge of Medical Terminology

+ Previous experience in working with health care professionals in a health care setting

Preferred:

+ Minimum of 5 years of transplant /cellular therapy experience

+ MSN preferred

+ Previous management experience

+ Previous experience as a transplant coordinator

+ Working knowledge of resources within outpatient and an acute care medical center with commensurate ability to refer individuals to appropriate departments
