Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Sensor Engineer to join one of the world's leading technology companies based in Sunnyvale, CA. This will be part of the Reality Labs organization which brings people around the world together through next generation Augmented, Mixed, and Virtual Reality. This individual will be responsible for smart glass module bring-up/ characterization/ validation. This engineer will develop test systems to enable rapid evaluation and testing of sub-systems.
Job Responsibilities:
* Characterize and validate display, camera, audio, sensors - imu, touch, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, Inertial measurement unit for smart wearables.
* Optimize module performance based on validation result
* Documenting and presenting test results to engineering teams
* Working with cross-functional teams to assure that sufficient and accurate testing is implemented
Pay range: $75-85/hr

Skills and Requirements
* Programming skills to develop software/firmware/scripts for validation, characterization, and prototyping (e.g. Python)
* Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. MATLAB, R etc.)
* Experience with firmware development (C/C++) is a plus
* Knowledge in I2C/SMBus, UART, SPI, USB, Network stack is a plus
* Ability to read schematics
* Experience with code management tools like Git
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills null
