    Job Description

    Day to Day:

    An enterprise-level client seeks a Director of UEBA/Insider Risk to join their growing Information Security Department. This role involves managing a technical team to provide long-term IT solutions, protecting information and systems from unauthorized access and other risks.

    Responsibilities:

    Design and drive strategy for Insider Risk and User Behavior programs to secure data assets.

     

    Manage and develop Insider Risk Lifecycle processes and User Behavior Analytics.

     

    Lead teams to provide data security for SaaS applications (e.g., Box, Dropbox, GitHub, Google Apps, Slack, Salesforce).

     

    Use User Behavioral tools to analyze identity access patterns.

     

    Enhance Insider Risk Program outcomes for data security.

     

    Provide engineering and operational leadership globally.

     

    Lead analysts and engineering teams to improve security posture.

     

    Track and report key performance indicators and metrics.

     

    Identify gaps in controls and recommend solutions.

     

    Manage the Information Security team and develop senior staff.

     

    Authorize projects and report status to IT senior management.

     

    Set objectives, allocate resources, and administer the department budget.

     

    Introduce best practices and ensure quality delivery.

     

    Coordinate with internal groups, customers, and vendors.

     

    Conduct performance reviews and make hiring decisions.

     

    Interface with executives to resolve issues and gather industry information.

    Skills and Requirements

    Must Haves:

    10+ years of technical experience and 8+ years of management experience.

     

    Strong experience with User Behavior products (Securonix preferred or Exabeam) and Splunk.

     

    Experience implementing security controls in SaaS platforms (e.g., Workday, O365, Box.com, Salesforce).

     

    Hands-on experience with Cloud Access Security Brokers, MCAS, AIP, and similar tools.

     

    10+ years of technical experience and 8+ years of management experience.

     

    BA/BS in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

     

    Relevant certifications (CISSP, SSCP, CISA, CISM, CCNA, CCNP, MSCE preferred).

     

    Extensive experience with data platforms, machine learning, and data-driven applications.

     

    Expertise in DLP information protection technology.

     

    Proven ability to build and manage strong technical teams.

     

    Experience with security products and the security landscape.

     

    Strong analytical and communication skills.

     

    Ability to influence and establish effective working relationships at senior management levels. null
