Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Engineer Director/Project Manager in the Government industry, specifically in the Project Construction field. The position is based in Jupiter, Florida, United States and involves providing leadership, strategic direction, and oversight for all Engineering operations within the scope of the town's infrastructure and public assets.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement departmental goals and budgets in line with the strategic direction of Engineering operations

• Ensure the efficient planning, design, and construction of the town's infrastructure and public assets

• Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards

• Supervise personnel within the Department of Engineering, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment

• Utilize skills in Cloud Technologies, CRM, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and Atlassian Jira to optimize operations

• Oversee maintenance contracts and manage equipment maintenance to ensure the longevity and efficiency of public assets

• Use knowledge of Architectural Engineering in planning and executing construction projects

• Apply Agile Scrum methodologies to manage projects and tasks efficiently

• Utilize communication skills to effectively resolve customer inquiries and maintain customer satisfaction

• Implement Budget Processes and Budget Management strategies to ensure financial efficiency and sustainability of projects. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field is required.

• A valid State of Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.

• Possesses a minimum of 15 years of experience in the engineering or construction industry

• Demonstrates proficiency in using Atlassian Jira

• Has substantial knowledge and experience with Cloud Technologies

• Shows proficiency in CRM and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Familiar with IBM tools and systems

• Experienced in using About Time software

• Understands and can effectively apply Agile Scrum methodologies

• Has experience in managing budget processes

• Exhibits excellent communication skills

• Has a solid background in construction projects, particularly commercial construction

• Can effectively read and understand construction plans

• Holds a degree in Architectural Engineering or a related field

• Has experience in budget management within the engineering or construction sectors

• Understands equipment maintenance and can manage maintenance contracts

• Has experience in maintenance management within a large-scale organization.
