Starting Salary: $6,095/Monthly
This position is open to the public and all current City employees covered under the City’s collective bargaining agreement with AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY, AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES (AFSCME) – BARGAINING UNIT 1, 3, 4 & 5. Only employees in City job titles in this bargaining unit are eligible to bid.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
As a Project Coordinator supporting the Manager of Quality Assurance (MQA), you will play a critical role in optimizing clinical services across programs such as Mental Health, WIC, STI, Family Connects, Lead,TB and Immunization. Your responsibilities will include supporting the implementation and training of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, managing policy and procedure reviews, and driving performance improvement initiatives. You will work closely with the MQA to standardize workflows, improve patient satisfaction, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Additionally, you will coordinate communication efforts with internal teams and external partners to enhance program visibility and support quality improvement projects at individual clinic sites.

**Location:** 111 W. Washington; will be required to travel
**Days:** Monday - Friday
**Hours:** 9:00am – 5:00pm
THIS POSITION IS IN THE CAREER SERVICE
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Public or Business Administration, Social Sciences, Planning or a related field, supplemented by three years of progressively responsible experience in program administration, or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required

SELECTION REQUIREMENTS
This position requires applicants to complete an interview which will include a written exercise, and/or a skills assessment test as part of the interview. The interviewed candidate(s) possessing the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position, based on the oral and written parts of the interview will be selected.
Preference will be given to candidates possessing the following:
• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
• Experience using Electronic Health Record systems
• Bilingual, Spanish speaking is a plus
• Experience working in a public health setting
