The Material Expediter supports wholesale supply chain functions to include receiving and processing incoming assets from various supply sources, storage, inventory, packing, packaging, transportation, cargo movement/planning, and demilitarization of equipment/parts prior to disposal action.

Responsibilities

+ This person will perform physical tasks to transport or store materials or merchandise.

+ Duties involve one or more of the following:

+ Manually loading or unloading freight cars, trucks, or other transporting devices.

+ Unpacking, shelving, or placing items in proper storage locations.

+ Transporting goods by hand truck, cart, or wheelbarrow.

Qualifications

+ Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

+ High school diploma or GED/equivalent.

+ Valid drivers license.

+ Must be able to pass a background check and attain security clearance if required.

+ Must be able to pass random drug testing (as required).

+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).

+ Must have a minimum of 1 year of recent material handling laborer experience gained either in military or commercial application.

+ Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
