    **Job Title:** Nurse Practitioner – Pediatrics Emergency Department

    **Location:** Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple, TX

    **Schedule:** 10-hour shifts (10:00 AM – 8:00 PM), 14 shifts/month, No call

    **Employment Type:** Full-time

    Position Summary

    Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a **Nurse Practitioner** to join our dynamic **Pediatrics Emergency Department** team at **McLane Children’s Medical Center** in Temple, Texas. This is a unique opportunity to work in both **inpatient and outpatient settings** at a renowned pediatric facility, providing care to a diverse pediatric population.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide medical care to pediatric patients in the emergency department and inpatient settings

    + Perform procedures including, but not limited to:

    + Incision & drainage (I&D)

    + Wound closure

    + Splinting and casting

    + Foreign body removal

    + Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care

    QUALIFICATIONS

    + EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program

    + EXPERIENCE - More than 1 Year of Experience

    + CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Nurse Practitioner (NP)

    + Registered Nurse (RN)

    + Basic Life Support (BLS): and PALS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
