What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
In this position, you will get to:
+ The Tooling expert is responsible to design and develop composite molds and assembly fixtures to support prototyping activities – ensuring least cost & lead time
+ Solid understanding of conventional or computer numerically controlled machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders
+ Study blueprints, sketches, models, or specifications to plan sequences of operations for fabricating tools, dies, or assemblies.
+ Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicators.
+ Initiate and implement tool, fixtures, gauges to improve product quality at assembly line
+ Evaluate current equipment performance
+ Prepare process flow chart
+ Resolve tools, fixtures, gauges requirements for the easy assembly
+ Electric Screwdriver/ Torque requirements
+ Validation of fixtures and gauge with standard frequency
+ Ensure all equipment and maintenance process adhering to ISO requirements , legal and regulatory requirements
+ Ensure zero unsafe act due to facility equipment’s , adhering to internal EHS and lean requirements
+ Cost saving as per target from facility equipment, spare parts through kaizens and innovative ideas
+ Sharing and collecting standard methodologies from other nVent Plants
You have:
+ Academic background in **B.E. Mechanical with AutoCAD**
+ Previous experience in or with **8 – 10 years in manufacturing and maintenance with team handling exposure**
+ Skills **SAP, M3 or Any ERP knowledge**
