• Coordinator, Referral/Authorization

    Job Summary: Processing patient referrals to specialists and obtain authorization from third party payer. Keep patients informed of the status of the referral and specialist information. Assist with scheduling specialist appointments as needed. May perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic PC skills and basic office skills (fax, copy machine, multi-line telephone). At least 1 year clerical experience in a medical office setting. Knowledge of authorization/referral process for HMO/PPO and workers' comp.

     

    Salary Range: $21.00 - $28.85 hourly. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
